The Passage of Time is an exhibition of artworks by Joy Lukunic.
The exhibition will feature a model of St Mary’s Church, Toongabbie, complete with stained glass window, lighting and church bell. This church was built in 1889 and was demolished in 1994 and is seated on a map of the parish. Research for this project was through the Parramatta Heritage Centre. Also in the exhibition are some doilies made from leaves fallen from the old camphor laurel trees along the footpath outside Parramatta Gaol. These doilies were included in an installation at Elizabeth Farm House in February 2004.
Opening is Saturday 14 January 2012, from 3.30pm-5.30pm meet the artist. Exhibition continues through to 9 February 2012.
